They have performed since 2004 at public and private functions throughout Plumas and Sierra Counties and on into Reno, NV.

This guitar, concertina and banjo combo deliver a unique version of Irish folk sound and lore. Their selections combine whimsical variations on traditional songs and original music and lyrics which make a historical connection with the folk masters.

Excerpted from a review in The Mountain Messenger, July 2007…

Banjo Dan, whose tune- up technique is to tighten the strings till they break then back off half a turn, leans into every "let's get pubbed up" performance. Concertina Gerry, the one who can actually locate Ireland on a map, has brought streaming masses to tears with his rendition of "Danny Boy".

But it is Guitar Ben, the lyricist, who will trick you the most.

He smiles, laughs and sings original songs that sneak up on unsuspecting listeners, causing a "What? Did you hear that?" reaction… with a magical combination of new songwriting talent and historical connection with the folk masters…juicy phraseology that holds the high ground of intrigue and whimsy.

Whiskey Dents brings the party to the party with tunes that playfully commingle normally adversarial positions. Improbable conclusions make sense with bonded rhythmic Irish blends.
