Plumas Arts is particularly grateful to all of the culinary establishments that participated in the Taste of Plumas and to all those who donated to the Dine Your Way Around Plumas Prize Drawing; and to the wineries, wine shops and distributors as well as the merchants, artists and individuals who donated many wonderful items to the auction. And of course, it all would not have worked without the 250 attendees who graced Plumas Arts by supporting this vibrant cultural organization with their ticket purchases and generous donations. |

Pangaea Café & Pub from Quincy took the Favorite Presentation category with an extraordinary array of Sushi. Gamboni's Peninsula Grill, Lake Almanor, and the Alley Cat Café, Quincy, were a close second and Debra Housen's display for Cakes Unleashed in Greenville took third place.
There were too many wonderful wines for most people to choose only one favorite, but Lassen Peak scored highest for the second year running with their Old Wine Zinfandel. The 2006 Snoqualmie Sauvingon Blanc from Quincy Natural Foods, the Muriettas Well Zarzuela Zinfandel that accompanied Sweet Lorraine's St. Louis Ribs and the Robert Mondavi Muscato poured with the Desserts from the Almanor Culinary Academy scored right behind in a three-way tie for second place.
