| The fourth annual Art Around the Lake provides a venue in which the Lake Almanor Community Foundation promotes cultural and visual arts which benefit our local schools' art and music programs within Lake Almanor Basin including Chester, Greenville and Westwood schools.
The event is produced in collaboration with Plumas Arts.
Art Around the Lake is a day long art experience for the community to come together in various locations, studios and galleries to observe "Artists in Action" sculpting, throwing, painting, sketching or weaving their work of art.
The main intent of this event is to encourage artists to focus more on the "action" of their work in order to make the event an interactive art experience for the public. Artists will also have their original work for sale so that members of the public may enhance their experience by making a purchase of a desirable piece after they have encountered the artist at work.
