C.L. Quigley, born and grown in the capital of Nevada, became a writer and musician at an early age. As a teenager, she moved to Reno, playing trumpet professionally, while studying music and literature at the University of Nevada.

Preferring the natural world, Christina now resides in northeast California, where the Sierras meet the Cascades. Also known as a firefighter and fire lookout, she spends summers working and living on mountain peaks. When not writing, studying or spotting smoke, Christina plays folk songs on guitar and hikes the backcountry with her dog.

She reads her poems at "open mics" throughout the West. The poetry of C.L.Quigley has appeared in *Haggard & Halloo Publications* and the*Cosumnes River Journal*.
